Hardik Pandya has grown to be the most exciting all-rounder currently in the world since his debut in 2016. Now, he is a regular member of the Indian team in every format and has contributed in India’s dominant cricket.

Pandya recalled his time with India ‘A’ team, which is being coached by Rahul Dravid. He said Dravid changed his approach towards the game. “You can’t just be hitting everything when your team requires you to play in a certain way. It’s all about the team. Dravid explained there’s nothing like a natural game,” he said.

The 24-year-old revealed once Dravid asked an anonymous player about his game plan for a match during the team meeting, which the player replied he will stick to his natural game. The former captain rejected his reply and said there is nothing like a natural game.

“If your team is like 45 for six, and if you go out and hit in the air, get out and say it’s my natural game, that’s not one’s natural game. For me, it’s stupidity,” Pandya explained Dravid’ words.

Also, he praised Dhoni and Kohli’s contribution in his rise at the international arena. Pandya concluded while saying “He (Dravid) always cited examples of being smart enough to tweak the game according to the situation. I am fortunate enough to learn it from the legends. Even the likes of Virat (Kohli) and M.S. (Dhoni) keep discussing the same. It’s really helped me.”
