In the ongoing IPL 2023, some players have breached the IPL code of conduct, and the latest edition to the list is the Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya has been found guilty of not keeping up with the scheduled over rate while his side was bowling in the clash against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday.
Notably, Pandya is the second player after Faf du Plessis and Sanju Samson to receive the penalty for the over-rate offense in the 2023 edition. After having restricted the Punjab Kings to a small total, Pandya was caught off-guard as he did not expect to get involved in a close game. Interestingly enough, he indicated that the team will analyze the reason for the same during their team meeting.
