Hardik Pandya has taken a significant step in managing his career longevity by shifting his training base to Bengaluru, close to the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence. The India all-rounder has reportedly rented a property near the facility and plans to use it as his long-term hub whenever he is away from competitive cricket.

With India’s fast-moving schedule and constant workload management demands, the move gives him year-round access to elite medical, fitness and cricket support. According to a BCCI source quoted by PTI, Pandya has already moved permanently to Bengaluru and will continue to work from there for the rest of his career.

The idea is to reduce the strain of travelling between Mumbai and Bengaluru while keeping him close to the Centre of Excellence staff, rehab resources and practice facilities. The source also indicated that Pandya intends to continue working with his personal physiotherapist and strength-and-conditioning coach alongside the BCCI setup.

Pandya’s relocation comes at an important time in his recovery. He has been ruled out of India’s upcoming three-match ODI series against England with a quadriceps injury and has been spending time at the CoE in Bengaluru for rehabilitation. The move is being viewed as a long-term investment in extending his international career, with the all-rounder reportedly aiming to stay at the top level for several more years.

The all-rounder has also continued to invest in his own preparation, including optional skill work arranged through the CoE, with the cost reportedly borne by him. For Pandya, the shift is not just about recovery. It is about making sure the final stretch of his white-ball career is built on consistency, fitness and the best possible support system.
