Before the most exciting match to be held in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper, Hardik Pandya has sharpened his batting edge against Rajasthan Royals (GT). Batting first in the 48th match of IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals (RR) only managed to score 118 runs in 17.5 overs. Rashid Khan bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets for just 14 runs in 4 overs.

Gujarat Titans chased down the target of 119 runs by losing only 1 wicket and 37 balls to spare. GT skipper, Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten after scoring 39 runs in 15 balls, while Wriddhiman Saha played an unbeaten inning of 41 runs. Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring 36 runs in 35 balls. This is the 7th win of the Gujarat Titans season.

With the spin of Afghan spinners Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad, Gujarat Titans bundled out Rajasthan Royals for 118 runs in 17.5 overs. While Rashid took three wickets for 14 runs in four overs, Noor took a couple of wickets for 25 runs in three overs. Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya, and Josh Little took one wicket each.

For Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper, Sanju Samson scored the maximum of 30 runs in 20 balls with the help of three fours and a six. After the captain’s dismissal, the Rajasthan team came under pressure.

Rashid broke the back of Rajasthan’s batting by walking Ravichandran Ashwin, Riyan Parag, and Shimron Hetmyer. Dhruv Jurel lbw after Noor Ahmed bowled Devdutt Padikkal Chasing the target of 119 runs, Gujarat Titans got off to a good start. Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha gave a steady start to the team.

In the 10th over, Shubman Gill was stumped in an attempt to hit a six off Yuzvendra Chahal. After this, Hardik Pandya took the lead and hit three sixes and a four in a single over Adam Jampa. Pandya remained unbeaten after scoring 39 runs in 15 balls. He hit 3 fours and 3 sixes. GT eventually got over the line with more than six overs to spare.
