Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is the most trending cricketers in India and on Monday he took time to thank his fans and well-wishers for their constant support.
Pandya has been catching a lot of eyeballs in the cricketing world with his back-to-back performances across all formats. Once again in the first ODI of the 5-match series against Australia, he was rewarded with the Man of the Match award for his quality display with both bat and ball.
Taking to Instagram, Pandya posted a video which read: “Thank you for your love, support, and positivity! ?❤️”
Arguably, Pandya played a huge role in India’s 26-run win over Australia in the first ODI in Chennai on Sunday. Along with MS Dhoni, Pandya built a 118 runs stand and sailed away from the sinking ship of Indian as they were down to 87-5. Australia was set a target of 164 runs in 21 overs via Duckworth and Lewis System after the rain finally relented in Chennai.
Chasing the target, Australian batsmen lost wickets at regular intervals, thanks to the complete performance from Indian bowling attack.
