Esports gaming has been rapidly growing over the years around the globe and as a result, India has become a major hub of the gaming industry. A plethora of gaming developments keep happening in the country and in the process, some games took the whole gaming world by storm and Indian gamers were no exception. Speaking of some popular games, shooting-based multiplayer games have been one of the favorite genres of gaming aficionados.

Speaking of the shooting genre, the most popular game when it comes to the mobile platform is none other than the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) game. In the same vein, we have heard several cricket players who have a love for gaming off the field as well and the birthday boy aka star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, is all set to make his BGMI debut as the game makers have decided to release the new BGMI x Hardik Pandya 2.8 update.

Notably this update will also feature a new zombies edge mode which can be accessed in the Classic rank section of the game. To provide any official confirmation, Pandya himself took to his Instagram to announce the exciting news to his fans. Interestingly enough, not long ago the BGMI makers had conducted an event named after the popular game series Dragon Ball Z, which gained immense popularity.

Therefore, looking at the cricket fever of the fans as the ODI World Cup 2023 is already underway, the BGMI makers have got the fans are excited and have high expectations from the Hardik Pandya event. During the event, the players will be awarded Cricket balls which they can later redeem for various exciting rewards. Besides, the event comprises of three parts viz- Teaming Triumph, Classic Allies and Clan Unity, respectively.

 

Speaking of these game modes, in the Teaming mode, the player has to play any game with a clan member barring the arena mode to receive 25 balls once each day. Similarly, in the Classic Allies mode, the player has to play the classic mode. For doing so, they will be awarded 25 balls and 125 cricket balls each day on playing once and five times in all in a day, respectively. While in the Clan Unity mode, the players will get 10 balls for joining a clan. Notably, the event will be active till October 25.

The prolific Indian all-rounder turns 30 years old as he celebrates his birthday today (October 11) as Team India looks ahead to play Afghanistan in their second game of the ODI World Cup 2023. Though Hardik Pandya has looked out of color so far in the tournament, given his immense abilities, the all-rounder is expected to play a key role in the marquee event.

Notably, Hardik Pandya had picked up a minor injury earlier on his finger but later today ahead of the game against the Afghan Atalans, the all-rounder confirmed that he has recovered well. Furthermore, he also shared that on his birthday, his son, Augustya, gifted him a board which was a memorable surprise for him. As he marks his special day, Pandya will look to make merry of this occasion and come up good with both the bat and the ball for Team India.
