The fiery Pakistan fast bowler, Haris Rauf has claimed that the Indian stalwart, Virat Kohli may fail to replicate the infamous shot he played during the T20 World Cup 2022 to hit the pacer for back-to-back sixes during India’s clash with Pakistan. The arch-rivals met at the iconic MCG on 23rd October and Pakistan only managed to score 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. India was in all sorts of trouble as they lost four wickets for just 31 runs.

Kohli would then roll back the years as he produced one of the finest innings in the competition to seal the win for the Indian team with four wickets remaining. The star batter played a fiery knock of 82 runs off 53 balls and his innings consisted of six fours and four sixes.

One of the turning points of the game was when Virat Kohli smashed Rauf for back-to-back maximums with the first one becoming the talk of the town as he pulled off an incredible shot.

Haris Rauf was quizzed about the six by a fan during Pakistan’s popular show ‘Hasna Mana Hai.’ As per the quotes in NDTV, the Pakistan fast bowler said it did hurt him personally that the shot went for a six.

Pakistan fast bowler went on to say that Kohli may fail to pull it off once again as he feels such shots are quite rare. The fast bowler also said that the Indian star’s timing was perfect.

Explaining the same, Haris Rauf said, “Of course, it hurt when that went for a six. I didn’t say anything but it hurt me personally. I thought something wrong had happened. Anyone who knows cricket knows what sort of a player he is. He has played that shot now; I don’t think he can do that again. Such shots are quite rare, you can’t hit them repeatedly. His timing was perfect, and it went for a six.”
