The Indian women’s cricket team staged an impressive comeback in the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, leveling it 1-1 with a resounding victory in Dhaka. In this thrilling encounter, 22-year-old Jemimah Rodrigues emerged as the star performer, displaying her prowess with both the bat and the ball.
However, amidst the post-match celebrations, there was a momentary slip-up from the presenter, who mistakenly addressed Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur as Jemimah. Harmanpreet, quick-witted and unfazed, delivered a mic drop moment as she corrected the presenter with a simple yet impactful reply, “Harmanpreet Kaur. Thank you,” leaving a wry smile on her face. The presenter promptly apologized for his error.
“Thank you very much, Jemimah and congratulations”
