Pakistan suffered a Test series loss to Bangladesh

To date, this series whitewash has extended the streak of not winning a single Test in their own den to 10 as their form in the longer format of the game is remaining a cause for concern. Renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle took to Twitter and spoke his mind, immediate to the defeat of Pakistan during the second Test at Rawalpindi.

The tweet spoke volumes about the dismal state of affairs of Pakistan’s Test cricket as he said, even as he had thought that the team would struggle in the longer format of the game, the difference between potential and actual performance was more pronounced than he thought it would be.

Harsha Bhogle did not mince words and termed the series loss for Pakistan as “embarrassing.” His comments also echoed similar reactions from former Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad, who showed his disappointment in a reaction video posted online. Shehzad’s video analyzed the series and made various observations about how both teams performed.
