Chennai Super Kings registered a dominating win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 12th IPL 2021 game in Mumbai. The Royals failed to chase down CSK’s target of 189 in 20 overs. After losing crucial cogs due to injuries, Rajasthan Royals (RR) are looking vulnerable in their middle order.
The Rajasthan-based franchise couldn’t stop the fall of wickets at regular intervals during the chase, as the CSK bowlers took the game away from them. The batsmen fell prey to CSK’s spin attack, which comprises of Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali. Both spinners were bowling their best spells and delivered a fine performance.

However, the game had lot of interesting moments which did trend in social media platforms. Including Ravindra Jadeja’s special celebration after managing four catches in the game and picking up two crucial wickets as well. Commentator Harsha Bhogle got the limelight as well during the game.
The veteran commentor was pretty clear with his frustration over voice after noticing an incident during the first innings. This incident took place when Bangladeshi fast bowler, Mustafizur Rahman’s delivery was adjudged as no-ball by the third umpire. However, while watching the reply, CSK star DJ Bravo was visibly out of the crease at the non-striker end.

Although, Mustafizur’s delivery was a clear No-Ball, but could have been a clear run out at the other end. Harsha Bhogle did speak out on this perspective favoring the batsmen under the name of ‘spirit of the game’. He argued, “Look where Bravo is. That is why I believe you’re entirely within your rights…it should almost be mandatory in team meetings to say, run him out. All this talk about not being in the spirit of the game is so much nonsense.”

Here is how netizens reacted to it:
Still trying to work out why people say it is wrong to Mankad a batsman. Your out of your crease before the ball has left the hand, you are trying to gain an advantage and you cry foul when a bowler does what is legal. #IPL2021 pic.twitter.com/simuH13lHm

The bowler overstepping by a few inches is penalised, but a batsman backing up a few yards isn’t.
The bowler has every right to run out a batsman backing up so far. PERIOD.Calling it against the spirit of the game is a joke @ICC .#CSKvRR pic.twitter.com/vIHqbe6fWU
