Harsha Bhogle Recalls His Discussion With Shane Warne Regarding Ravindra Jadeja

The cricketing fraternity was left in shock with the unexpected demise of the legendary Australian cricketer, Shane Warne on 4th March 2022. He reportedly died of a heart attack. And, Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja had taken to Twitter to offer his condolences on the untimely demise of the legend and also acknowledged that he is shocked upon hearing the news. And to that, veteran Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted Warne’s admiration for Ravindra Jadeja.

Harsha Bhogle also added that Warne had called the Indian all-rounder as a Rockstar, and stated that the Aussie was fond of him. He tweeted, “He loved you Jaddu. Remember the time in ’08 at the DY Patil Stadium….He called you over and said to me “This kid is a rockstar”. We chatted more than once about you and he was very fond of you and of Yusuf”.

And, Jadeja responded to Harsha Bhogle and tweeted that he still remembers the chat. Jadeja once again stated that the death of Warne is a really sad news. The Indian all-rounder, “Yes harsha bhai, I still remember that chat. Really sad news”.

Shane Warne will go down as one of the greatest bowlers to have ever played the game of cricket. The Aussie spin bowling maestro is the 2nd highest wicket-taker in Test match cricket with a tally of 708 scalps under his belt and has also taken another 293 wickets in the ODI format of the game as well.

Shane Warne has taken a total of 38 five-wicket hauls in his international career. The bowling maestro played his last match for the Australian side in the year 2007. After retiring from international cricket, Warne had transitioned to the commentary box and was offering his expert opinion on the game of cricket.
