He rolled his fingers over the seam and it was a juicy full-toss, to which Salt was looking to smash it out of the ground, but then, it went underneath Salt’s swing and hit his off-stump. With this, Philip Salt got out after scoring 8 off 6 with a boundary. And, England could manage only 86 runs after the halfway mark. However, Dawid Malan smashed a swashbuckling 77 off 39 with 6 fours and 5 sixes and Liam Livingstone scored an unbeaten 42 off 29 with 4 sixes and helped his side post a massive total of 215 runs for 7 in their allotted 20 overs, which is also their highest total in the format as well.

Meanwhile, before the game, India have brought four changes in the game. And Rohit Sharma said in the toss, “We would have fielded first. Had batted first twice, wanted to chase at least once. Four changes for us – Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Umran Malik and Shreyas Iyer are in. They replace Bhuvi, Bumrah, Chahal and Hardik. We don’t want to miss out on the winning confidence, but there are a few things we want to have a look at before the World Cup, so the changes. We’re excited for Umran, want to wish him the best and give him confidence.”
