There has been a lot of blame game and talks going around since last two months when Hasin Jahan made a case about molestation and sexual harassment against his husband and Indian pacer, Mohammed Shami. She had earlier leaked Shami’s conversation with unknown girls and also made a case about his brother molesting her in Lalbazar Police station. Whereas some have stood by her, others have a thought that this a pure drama.

Shami is now seen bowling for Delhi Daredevils and the coach thinks that his personal problems have intervened in his bowling conditions a lot. This wasn’t enough as now his wife has come up with a new allegation. She has compared her case with Asifa’s rape case that recently occurred in Kathua.

Asifa was kidnapped and kept as a hostage in a Hindu Temple where she was raped and subjected to drugs before being killed. Hasin Jahan made her presence in the candle march to protest this Kathua case and there she spoke how similar is her condition. She earlier had filed a case against Shami about domestic violence and now she said that they were planning to rape and kill her.

“Those who are guilty of the crime should be punished. Even my case is similar to this. But I am alive. Even I have been subjected to what happened in that case. They had planned to rape me, kill me and then dump my body in a forest. It’s been almost two months that I am fighting against all this,” she said to Times Now.

As for Shami, the legal proceedings are still going on in Kolkata and the senior police commissioner Praveen Tripathi revealed that recently Shami was grilled and questioned for as long as 3hours.

“We can call him anytime but at this point in time, we don’t find it’s necessary. He has been cooperative in this case,” Tripathi concluded.
