Call him the God of Cricket or the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar has been there done that when it comes to batting in the game of cricket. Talk of the highest number of runs or the highest number of centuries, Tendulkar is the first name which comes to mind. Records are meant to be broken, but, it will require a substantial effort from someone to break Tendulkar’s records.
While he was all famous for his batting, there was another aspect of him, his bowling. Tendulkar could bowl anything and everything on the cricket field. Off spin, leg spin, gentle medium-pace, he has all the tools in his armoury. If one thing which restricted the numerical value of the number of wickets he took, it was injuries.
In 463 ODIs, Tendulkar picked up 154 wickets at an average of 44.48 and a strike rate of 52.2. In 200 Test matches, he affected 46 dismissals at an average of 54.17 and a strike rate of 92.1 with his bowling. In the lone T20I he played, he picked up a solitary wicket.
