Mandira Bedi is a former Indian television actress and India’s first female cricket anchor, Mandira Bedi, anchored the Indian Premier League in its second season. The flamboyant actress got some fame through her lead role in hit television serial, Shanti, in 1994 and has featured in many serials and movies ever since.

She hosted the ICC Cricket World Cups in 2003 and 2007, while also featured in the anchors’ panel of the Champions Trophy in 2004 and 2006.

Mandira also hosted the third season of IPL for ITV, which broadcasts the tournament to the United Kingdom.
