Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman has recently declared Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma as his favourite player from the current Indian squad. Jackman’s unexpected revelation came during a video interview posted by Marvel India. When asked about his favourite Indian cricketer, the Australian actor responded without hesitation, “Right now, Rohit.” He went on to praise Sharma’s recent performance, saying, “You took the [World] Cup home! I’m glad. But honestly, he was a beast.”
Ryan Reynolds, who sat beside him, nodded in agreement and added, “This is amazing!” This comment refers to Sharma’s stellar leadership in India’s victorious T20 World Cup campaign.
