Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir shared the expectations ahead of the five-match Test series against England, starting later this month. In a pre-departure press conference, Gautam Gambhir opined on being under pressure. He also stated that he is always under pressure, irrespective of results as well.

However, India lost the home Test series against New Zealand and the Australia series in Australia under Gautam Gambhir’s guidance. However, they later won the 2025 Champions Trophy, which was his first major success as the head coach of the national team as well.

“First of all, I am always under pressure. Regardless of whether I would’ve won the Champions Trophy or not. Because being the coach, you want the results.
