“I will comeback if MS is still around,” says AB de Villiers

Former India captain MS Dhoni has earned zillion of fans with not only his batting or captaincy but also as a human being. Coming from a state like Jharkhand, Dhoni’s hard work and dedication made him that much successful in the International level. However, former South Africa captain AB de Villiers, who announced his retirement from International Cricket in May 2018, said that he might think about his comeback if MS Dhoni will be around in 2023 World Cup.

“How old will I be…oh 39!,” de Villiers said when he came to Breakfast with Champions. “I will comeback if MS (Dhoni) is still around,” he added in a funny tone.

AB de Villiers has played with many famous players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and shared the experience as well.

“Virat (Kohli) is intense, ten out of ten, it’s all or nothing! Chris (Gayle) is calm….it’s almost like, you take the limelight it’s fine,” de Villiers explained.

However, he continues to play in the Twenty20 tournaments across the world. His last featured in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and played quite a few important knocks for the side. He scored more than 440 runs in this season at an average of 44.20 where he had the highest score, 82*.
