ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Record-Breaking Fan Parks To Bring Cricket Fever Worldwide

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative for the T20 World Cup 2024, announcing a record number of fan parks that will broadcast the tournament across five countries. This marks a historic effort to bring the excitement of the World Cup to more communities than ever before in the event’s history MOON.

A total of 22 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 matches will be showcased at these fan parks, situated in vibrant locations such as New York City, New Delhi, and Rawalpindi. This extensive network of live sites represents the largest number of fan parks ever established for an ICC World Cup. Each park will offer a lively atmosphere complete with DJs, food and drink vendors, cricket ambassadors, and family-friendly activities, ensuring a memorable experience for fans around the globe.

One of the standout venues in New York City is the Oculus at the World Trade Center, which will broadcast 18 matches on 10 different dates. This includes the much-anticipated final on June 29. New Yorkers will also have the chance to watch the tournament opener between the USA and Canada on June 1, as well as high-stakes matches like Australia vs. England on June 8 and India vs. Pakistan on June 9.

Additionally, the Group A game between India and Pakistan will be shown at ten different fan parks, including Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, New York, the Indira Gandhi Indoor Arena in New Delhi, and the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Pakistan. Fans in other parts of the USA will also have opportunities to enjoy the World Cup festivities. Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Broward County Stadium in Florida will host fan parks.

 

Beyond the USA, notable venues such as the Wanderers Stadium in South Africa will screen the Proteas’ first match against Sri Lanka on June 3, along with the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan game. Birmingham’s Edgbaston Cricket Stadium will also feature the June 9 fixture. The ICC’s broadcast partners in each region will provide live feeds to all ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 fan parks, ensuring seamless coverage and an immersive viewing experience.

This initiative underscores the ICC’s commitment to enhancing the fan experience and making cricket more inclusive, ensuring that the magic of the T20 World Cup reaches every corner of the globe.
