Later, in the ongoing inaugural Mzansi Super League (MSL) in his nation, Shamsi has performed it again. However, now, this celebration has been banned by the ICC on this Wednesday (December 5).

But Shamsi isn’t happy on this decision as he does it just for fun and he has no intention to disrespect the batsman.

According to Netwerk24, “There is so much pressure on you as a bowler in a game. I’m having fun with my celebrations and it is definitely not because I want to be disrespectful to the batsman.”

After making his international cricket debut in June 2016, Shamsi has played 2 Tests, 11 ODIs and 9 T20Is where he has picked up a total of 25 wickets in the international career (6 in Tests, 13 in ODIs and 6 in T20Is).

Currently, the slow left-arm chinaman bowler is playing the inaugural MSL for Paarl Rocks. At present, Paarl Rocks is battling at the no.4 position with 13 points after their first seven games where they have won three matches and lost the other four matches. Playing five matches (till 06/12/2018), Shamsi has taken seven wickets for his team.
