In the ongoing third T20I between India and Sri Lanka at Mumbai, luck did not favour India’s No. 3 batsman, Shreyas Iyer.

Chasing 136 runs to win, India did not receive a start similar to the one in Indore. India’s prospects were further hurt when Iyer was out in the way he got out.

On the second delivery of the 14th over, Manish Pandey hit a Akila Dananajaya delivery straight back to the bowler.

Iyer was backing up far too much to the extent that he could not get back into the crease on time as Dananajaya deflected the ball back to the stumps.
