Mahendra Singh Dhoni broke the shackles on the last delivery of the 14th over today. There looked a time when it seemed that Dhoni and Steven Smith are consuming one too many deliveries at the crease.

But when Dhoni stepped out to Yuzvendra Chahal, it was a shot with a lot of intent and power. He hit the ball over long-on and it stayed hit. Yes! IT DID.

The ball reached nowhere but the roof of Chinnaswamy Stadium. With that shot, Dhoni perhaps turned back the time clock to the times when he used to hit such shots for fun. Watch the full video:
