In the second ODI between South Africa and India at Centurion, Kagiso Rabada and Virat Kohli were involved in a battle between the bat and ball.

During the eighth over of India’s chase, Kagiso Rabada bowled a short delivery to Kohli which deflected off his bat only to hit him in his ribs. Kohli was in a substantial amount of pain after the blow.

Having said that, it didn’t affect his game as he hit the next ball of the over, another short ball, for a six over fine leg.
