India beat Sri Lanka by 5 wickets in the ongoing third T20I at Mumbai to win the three-match T20I series, 3-0.
In what has been a stellar of a year for Team India, it was important for them to end the year on a good note provided their next assignment will be against South Africa in South Africa.
Needing three runs to win from the last over, MS Dhoni scored a couple on the first delivery to follow it up with a boundary through the square leg region. What amazed many people was the fact that Dhoni was playing with a broken bat in this match, something which can be seen in the attached photo.
Earlier in the evening, India was set a target of 136 by the visitors. Manish Pandey, who came in to bat at No. 4, top-scored with 32 (29) with the help of four fours.
