After their tour of the West Indies, the Indian cricket team is gearing up to visit Ireland for a thrilling three-match T20I series. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that the series will take place from August 18 to August 23. Prior to this, India will be engaged in a multi-format series against the West Indies, featuring two Test matches, three ODIs, and five T20Is, starting from July 12.
Although the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to officially announce the dates for the Ireland tour, the ICC release stated that the series would be held in late August at Malahide. The last time India faced Ireland in a T20I series was in June 2022 when the Men in Blue emerged victorious with a 2-0 win.
Fans eagerly await to witness if India can replicate their previous performance in the upcoming series. As per Cricket Ireland, the schedule for the series will be –
- 18 August: Ireland Men v India Men – 1st T20I (Malahide; start time 3pm)
- 20 August: Ireland Men v India Men – 2nd T20I (Malahide; start time 3pm)
- 23 August: Ireland Men v India Men – 3rd T20I (Malahide; start time 3pm)

Expressing his gratitude, Warren Deutrom, the Chief Executive of Cricket Ireland, thanked the BCCI for choosing Ireland as a touring destination and expressed his excitement about the prospect of facing the Indian team once again.
He said, “We’re delighted to welcome India Men back to Ireland for the second time in 12 months. We saw two sold-out matches in 2022, so to have a three-match series this year should give even more fans the opportunity to enjoy what is always a memorable occasion.”
Deutrom also appreciated the BCCI for collaborating to create a fan-friendly schedule, ensuring matches on a Friday and Sunday to maximize fan availability. The upcoming India-Ireland T20I series promises to be an exciting affair, and cricket enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to witnessing some thrilling encounters on the field.
