The India Women Cricket team is all set to play their first-ever final against Australia in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The Harmanpreer Kaur lead team entered the finals as the only unbeaten team in the tournament. Their semi-final against England was a washout due to heavy rains, resulting in the Indian squad qualifying over England on the virtue of being table toppers in the group stage.
The finals, however, are familiar territory for the hosts, as the Australian women team has the record of playing the most number of finals. Tomorrow’s final will be no different for the hosts as they aim to defend their title and get crowned world champions one more time.
Wishes have been flocking in on Twitter with messages supporting the Indian Women team and backing them to win the finals.
