In the Intercontinental Cup on Monday night, the Indian football team locked horns with Kenya’s team at the Mumbai Football Arena, in Mumbai. This was the second match of India in the tournament. Also, the Indian captain Sunil Chhetri had earlier defeated Chinese Taipei. In the match played on Monday, Indian football team captain scored two goals before he scored 59 goals in 99 games.
It was a memorable game for him, as Chhetri was playing his 100th international match. After playing that match, Sunil became the second Indian player to have played 100 international games. It was a historic match for the Indian captain and the team celebrated it by defeating Keny by a decent margin of 3-0 in which Sunil managed to score two goals. After this, many big celebrities have congratulated them on Twitter.
It was a great win by our Men in Blue, superbly braced by our Indian football captain Sunil Chettri and the home team got immense support as the stadium was jam-packed to cheer and to back our men in blue.

However, ahead of the match, Chettri made everyone emotional when he took to social media to urge the Indian fans to support them. He posted an emotional video that made everyone feel bad for him and for the Indian football team. In his video, he requested the fans to turn out in huge numbers to support his team.

And fortunately, all the tickets of the match were sold-out and the fans came to back our icons on the field.
