The young Indian opening batsman Ishan Kishan has hit a glorious pull shot for six over the mid-wicket boundary against Sri Lanka in the ongoing opening game of the three-match T20I series. The shot that Kishan had played the pull shot off the front-foot which is a trademark shot of the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma who plays it with much ease.
Earlier in the game, the Sri Lankan skipper, Dsun Shankar had won the toss and decided to bowl first. After being asked to bat first the Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan made a brilliant partnership of 111 runs with the latter playing a fiery knock of 89 runs in just 56 balls. India managed to reach the score of 199/2 owing to a fiery knock of 57* off 28 balls in the slog overs.

Deepak Hooda received his debut cap in T20Is while Sanju Samson returned to the team as Rohit Sharma named a rejigged starting eleven. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and the fast bowling, spearhead Jasprit Bumrah also came back to the national set-up. Overall, India introduced six changes from the last game against the West Indies in Kolkata.
Ishan Kishan played a pull shot off the front foot which is very similar to his opening partner. It is not an easy shot to play and commentators, as well as fans in the stadium, were in complete awe when he played that shot.
