The reactions filled with anguish and anger continue to outpour as the aftermath of the cowardly terrorist attack on CRPF personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The Indian people were left utterly shocked when more than 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives on Thursday after an SUV loaded with explosives collided with the bus comprising of the soldiers. It is considered as the biggest attack on the Indian armed forces. Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) had claimed responsibility for the attack.

Ever since the attack has taken place, the Indian people are trying their best to make sure Pakistan pay for their sadistic act. The government of India has already started taking actions against Pakistan like increasing the import duty and take away the status of ‘Most Favored Nation’ from their neighbors. The cricketing community has also done their bits.

The players have not only condemned the attack but have also come forward to help the martyrs’ families. Former India opener Virender Sehwag has stated that he would bear the educational expenses of the martyrs’ children while current opener Shikhar Dhawan also promised a monetary help. On Saturday, the prestigious Cricket Club of India (CCI) had covered the portrait of former Pakistan skipper Imran Khan while on Sunday the PCA stadium in Mohali removed all the photos of the Pakistani cricketers.

Apart from that, the IMG-Reliance took the decision of pulling out its deal to produce television coverage of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) worldwide. As a result, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will now have to desperately find an alternative broadcasting company or the ongoing tournament will continue to remain off the air. DSport, the television channel showing the PSL in India, has also stopped its coverage.

Apart from all these activities, now the Indian fans have urged BCCI to take yet another step. They have demanded that the foreign players who are currently playing in the PSL should be banned from playing the Indian Premier League (IPL).
