A clip shared by the BCCI on their social media handles shows a host of jubilant Indian players including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj among others posing with the trophy.

“It’s an amazing feeling. We have worked really hard to get this trophy. I feel blessed that I can hold this trophy and am part of the 15-man squad that won the title,” Mohammed Siraj said while kissing the trophy.

India head coach Rahul Dravid was seen getting a jersey signed by each member of the touring party, as was batting coach Vikram Rathour. Player-of-the-tournament Bumrah had his baby boy Angad in his arms along with the trophy, while left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, the joint-highest wicket-taker of the competition, posed with his family.

The team landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on a special Air India flight arranged to bring them home from Barbados after they were stuck in the country for nearly three days due to Hurricane Beryl, which brought life to a standstill on the island.
