The Indian stalwarts, Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik enjoyed their day off on Thursday by playing a completely different sport along with other Indian players to unwind and let off some steam before getting back to the grind in the Asia Cup 2022. The players enjoyed their day off at a beach in Dubai where they also played volleyball.
The members of the Indian contingent s were seen playing beach volleyball and a video of their match was posted on social media by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India is leading the chat in group A and has qualified for the Super 4 after registering a win over arch-rivals Pakistan in its campaign opener and going on to clinch a 40-run win over Hong Kong.
In a video shared by BCCI, Chahal was heard saying, “It was an off-day so Rahul Dravid sir decided that we should have some fun activities. It was good fun and relaxing. We had some great fun. You can see how everyone is happy and excited. This all helps in creating team bonding.”

Virat Kohli looked nervy against Pakistan in his comeback game and also looked edgy in the initial part of his knock against Hong Kong as he, later on, smashed his 31st T20 half-century. Kohli completed his half-century in the penultimate over by clipping Ehsan to midwicket for two.
Hong Kong will be facing Pakistan in the last group game with the winner meeting India again in the second Super 4 game on Sunday. Afghanistan has already qualified for Super 4 from Group B after winning both its group matches against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka became the third team to qualify to the Super 4 after Afghanistan and India as the Dasun Shanaka-led side sealed the highest run-chase in the history of the Asia Cup against Bangladesh on Thursday. There will be six matches in the Super 4. It will be followed by the final on September 11 in Dubai.
