It was a miraculous win for the Indian team in the ongoing T20 World Cup in the UAE. They had to continue the momentum after winning the game against Afghanistan by 66 runs and the team did it perfectly performing even better against Scotland. It was a kind of a gift for skipper Virat Kohli as he was celebrating his 33rd birthday. He also termed it as a ‘special evening’ in the post-match presentation stating he was blessed to have his family and teammates by his side.

When it comes to sportsmanship, there aren’t a lot of players in the world who come close to Virat Kohli. If he plays hard on the field and gives it his all for his country, he is very humble off it and the example of the same was again on the show after the game against Scotland.

The birthday boy visited the Scotland dressing room with the team much to the delight of all the players and had some encouraging conversations with them. Scotland skipper Kyle Coetzer had earlier shared his excitement about how special it would be for him to stand besides Virat Kohli for the toss and the man himself speaking to the team would’ve been a dream come true for the Scottish cricketers.

Cricket Scotland shared pictures of the Indian skipper having a conversation with their players in their dressing room. Though they didn’t share, the picture of Rohit Sharma speaking to Scotland players also was doing the round on social media and it seems as if the whole team reached there.

The BCCI released a video on their official Twitter handle regarding the same. In the video, the likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, MS Dhoni, and Ravichandran Ashwin are seen sharing their knowledge with the players from the opposition camp. India’s batting coach Vikram Rathour is also seen in the video interacting with an official.

Tweeting the same, BCCI wrote: “MUST WATCH: Spirit of Cricket was at its best as Scotland expressed their wish to visit the Team India dressing room & our boys made them feel at home.”

While speaking after the match, Virat Kohli looked relieved and happy with the dominating effort of the team. He also stated that there will be no special birthday celebrations and how blessed he is to have his family with him during the tough times.
