Indian cricket team made a great gesture to the special Australian co-captain, the seven-year-old Archie Schiller, after the end of the Melbourne Test.
During the Melbourne Test, the seven-year-old Archie Schiller was named as the special co-captain of the Australian cricket team. Archie has been diagnosed with congenital heart disease and has faced around 13 surgeries since his birth.
While the Make-A-Wish Foundation had a special request to the Australian cricket team to add Archie in the national squad, they announced him as the special co-captain of the national side for the Melbourne Test.

During the toss of the Test match, Archie was present with both national captains Tim Paine (Australia) and Virat Kohli (India). However, his team failed to win that game as the visiting side won that crucial game of the series by 137 runs.
But after the end of the game, the Indian team made a great gesture to Archie as all the members had the very kind handshake with him. The match officials also joined with the Indian cricketers.
Onya Archie! What a week he's had leading the Aussie team in Melbourne.

His mother, Sarah Schiller, earlier told that Archie was very excited after hearing his selection news in the national team.
Sarah told BBC, “He was just on to of the world to be out there with the team, I’ve never seen him smile so much. He said he felt included in what was going on and he loves this sport so much. He sleeps now with his baggy green on – he would sleep in his team blazer if we allowed him to. He handled it absolutely beautifully. When he got there, he just put on his whites and said, “See ya Mum and Dad, I’m with my mates now.”
