One of the most successful captains as well as wicketkeepers in world cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) has inspired everyone with his game. While he has fans all over the world, many cricketers too shared that they consider Dhoni as their idol. And, the rookie player Indrani Roy is among them as well.
We have seen many times MS Dhoni is giving tips to young players on the field and his guidance from behind the stump is well known too. Young players often try to use their learning from MS Dhoni on the field and get success as well.
However, recently, Jharkhand wicket-keeper batsman Indrani Roy, who has been named in the Indian women’s cricket team for the upcoming tour of England, has said that she will try to use the tips which she got from former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) in the series against England. Notably, India will play the only Test match from June 16 on the England tour. After that, they will play the three-match ODI series till July 15 and then as many T20s will take place as well.

Indrani Roy further added, “This is an important thing for a wicketkeeper and he advised me that if you try this, you will get better. It really helped me. It is an honor to learn one or two things from a veteran like Mahi sir and his advice really helped me and my game improved. Every time I go to the ground, I remember her tips.”
Team India is expected to leave on June 2 as well.
