Shubman Gill (Kolkata Knight Riders)

The 18-year-old right-handed batsman impressed with his technical batting. He played some really matured innings which was very impressive for a young batsman. Though he is a top-order specialist, he played in this IPL season as a middle-order batsman and that didn’t affect his game.

Playing for KKR under Dinesh Karthik’s captaincy, Gill scored total 203 runs in 11 innings with 33.83 averages and 146.04 strike-rates. His best knock was 57* against Chennai Super Kings (at Kolkata on May 3) which was his only 50+ knock in this season.
