The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are currently not playing at their best in the ongoing 11^th edition of the IPL as they are standing at the penultimate position in the IPL 2018 points table in the current scenario. RCB’s performance was pretty dismal especially after considering the fact that they have some of the biggest names in cricket in their squad. Before the start of this season, there was a common belief among RCB fans that the franchise will easily qualify for the playoffs, but things have turned out completely upside down.

After Bangalore’s demoralizing loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Monday, their fans are in dismay because most of the veterans believe that Kohli’s side is almost out of the tournament and they won’t be able to qualify for the playoffs.

However, an RCB fan did the mathematics and posted a tweet explaining how the Bangalore based franchise can still qualify for the top-4 without thinking about the net run-rate scenario. His tweet is going viral for all the right reasons. RCB’s diehard fan “@sriharikraman” charted down all the possible results from remaining IPL fixtures, highlighting the results that will have to go in Bangalore’s favor.

The fan, who shared the picture of an epic calculation on Twitter, claims to have received the tweet in WhatsApp, with the real owner still unknown. As per his calculation, Virat and his men will have to register a win in all of their remaining 4 games.

RCB’s qualification will also require Mumbai Indians (MI) to win only two of their next four matches, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) & Delhi Daredevils (DD) just one each and Rajasthan Royals (RR) none. As per this qualification, SRH finish at the top of the points table with 11 wins, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at number 2 with 10 wins and Kings XI Punjab at 3 with 9 wins.
