In the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), there are only three teams who are yet to get their hands on the coveted trophy and unfortunately, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of those. has been among the very few teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) who haven’t won the championship thus far. Despite having one of the most swashbuckling players in the squad, especially batsman, they failed to get over the line in three finals. They played the final against the Deccan Chargers, the Chennai Super Kings and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2009, 2011 and 2016 respectively.

Nevertheless, on all the occasions, they suffered a comprehensive defeat. Nobody in our organization needs reminding we were bowled out for 49 at Eden Gardens last year, but we’re looking forward, not back… looking to attack with both bat and ball, to play with energy, flair, and courage.”
