During the 44th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Indore, Kings XI Punjab’s Andrew Tye picked up two wickets on consecutive deliveries to bring his team back into the match.

Ravichandran Ashwin, captain of Kings XI Punjab, had won the toss and chose to field. Kings XI Punjab included Mayank Agarwal, Aaron Finch and Barinder Sran into their playing eleven in place of Akshdeep Nath, Manoj Tiwary and Marcus Stoinis. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders brought in Shubman Gill and handed an IPL debut to Javon Searles. Rinku Singh and Tom Curran faced the axe.

Tye picked up two wickets in an over.

After a couple of silent overs, Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine rocketed their team to a fantastic powerplay where they scored 59-1. Despite losing the wicket of Lynn, Narine carried on with the same flair.

Just when the Knight Riders were running with the match, Tye pulled them back with his double blow. On the third delivery of his second over, the 12th of the innings, Tye induced an outside edge of Narine’s bat which was taken behind the wickets by Lokesh Rahul. Watch the video:
