KRR buys Micthell Starc

Kolkata started they auction with a bang and they have won the signature of Mitchell Starc for INR 9.4 Cr. KXIP were also involved in bidding but KKR outlived them and won the signature for the star Australian pacer, who last played for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 2017, Starc parted ways with RCB in order to focus on International cricket.

Chris Lynn

Kolkata Knight Riders get back their star opener Chris Lynn as they saw off the challenge from DD and RCB. Kolkatta buys Lynn for INR 9.6 crores. For those who there thinking why they didn’t use RTM on him is because KKR had already consumed their foreigner quota in retention.

KKR also retained Piyush Chawla via the RTM card from Chennai Super Kings for INR 4.2 crores. They used their other RTM card to take possession of Kuldeep Yadav from Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 5.8 crore.

In the category of uncapped domestic batsmen, they bought current member of the India U-19 team Shubman Gill for 1.8 crore and Ishank Jaggi for hia base price of INR 20 lakh.
