Dinesh Karthik (Kolkata Knight Riders) – Wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik played a very important match-finisher role for KKR in this season. Most of the cases the 32-year-old succeeded to lead his team to the victories. The right-handed batsman scored 498 runs with 49.80 averages and 147.77 strike-rates. While he scored two half-centuries in this season, his best knock was 52 against Rajasthan Royals at Kolkata.

 

 

MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings; wk/captain) – The 2018 IPL winning captain MS Dhoni is the captain and wicketkeeper of this best XI side. It was one of successful IPL season for the CSK captain who scored 455 runs in 15 innings with 75.83 averages and 150.66 strike-rates. After a long time, we observed the dangerous Dhoni on the field who consistently succeeded on his match-finishing role. Dhoni scored total three half-centuries in this season and the best one was 79* against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali.
