Virat became the losing captain at Chinnaswamy despite putting up a total of 205 runs on the board while batting first. RCB have historically been a poor bowling sided and have been extremely top-heavy. With the inclusion of Tim Southee the scenario has changed and now they have a potent attack.

Their big struggle came since ABD missed out on two matches due to his illness. That meant RCB had to shuffle their batting order. Their team combination is still unsettled and can be improved.
