With the Qualifiers fast approaching the team strategies were important than ever. The sixth week of the IPL 2018 was an extremely intense one for all the teams which still have not booked their place in the playoffs. Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab are the teams in the mid-table scramble who are still not confirmed not in the top four. SRH and CSK were relaxed and DD had nothing to lose. Here is how Team Captains performed –

Delhi Daredevils – Shreyas Iyer – Rating 7/10

Well, with a 24-year old who is leading the IPL franchise for the first time, it is difficult to expect him to be accurate with tactical decisions under pressure. But with the team out of competition, Shreyas Iyer looked relaxed and handled the team well.

The management finally did some positive changes. They dropped Glenn Maxwell who was struggling for runs. They included 17-year old Abhishek Sharma who did excellently. DD also handed the debut to Sandeep Lamichhane. Despite the loss, Captain has done a decent job.
