A slow-moving partnership between Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson
RR had another very good start during their chasing as their openers Rahul Tripathi and the skipper Ajinkya Rahane put a 47-run partnership for the first wicket. That momentum was carried by the second wicket too as Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson put another brilliant 62-run partnership but they took 54 balls.
Their long partnership was not moving quickly and that gradually helped to grow up the required-run-rate. Even after getting set on the pitch, both the batsmen failed to score regular boundaries.
Later, they were dismissed in the very crucial times which harmed the team hugely.
