Ravindra Jadeja was a known name in the Indian national side and cruised India to a lot of victories. Unless when his form went bad and young talented spinners like Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal started excelling in their job, the spot of Jadeja spot disappeared. Though he got a chance to play for CSK this year, yet there is no such way the spinner is shinning.

Unlike other teams, CSK has this time shone faith on the old and experienced players with no such young talents being fighting for the side. Though Dhoni has shown believe on Jaddu yet the spinner is failing to get a chance o fulfill his quota of bowling.

Former Indian Spinner, Maninder Singh guesses on why Dhoni isn’t using Jadeja best. The reason might be as he says that Jaddu is injured a bit but also the stresses on the fact that why Dhoni is doing so keeping in mind the team leaking so many runs this season.

“It is a mystery as to why Jadeja is not bowling. I feel he must be carrying some injuries. If not he should be bowling fearlessly. Anyway, CSK has been giving away too many runs. So I don’t understand why Dhoni is not using him. The bottom-line is he needs to bowl if he harbours any hopes of making a national return,” Maninder Singh said to Times of India.

Hrishikesh Kanitka, on the other hand,d thinks that Dhoni has a lot of better options for bowling that has left Jadeja out of the picture a bit. Jadeja is no more observed as the main best bowler for the team but he might be a trump card any day.

“I feel Jadeja didn’t bowl because Dhoni had plenty of options at his disposal. However, it is clear that Dhoni has other plans for him and sees him as a finisher. Jadeja has the skills to do it. He now has to figure it out how he wants to go about the job. The earlier he realises that, the better it would be for the team,” he said.

But Dhoni has always voiced for the spinner. He still thinks Jadeja is a match winner and a best all rounder for the yellow army. He thinks Jaddu needs more of chances to prove himself.

“We have confidence in Jadeja. This is also the right time to give him that opportunity. If he cannot do (it), Bravo can always step up. But if he can come good, it will be really good. (Suresh) Raina is another left-hander at the top and if we can have him who can do the job as a floater, the opposition will find it difficult to plan their bowling. So far we have never really given Jadeja the kind of opportunity he deserves. So I will definitely back him to come good in the future games,” Dhoni said earlier.
