Kolkata Knight Riders were defeated with ease by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team on Saturday night at the Eden Gardens. On the same day, Delhi Daredevils came out strong against the home team Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium to chase down 194. DD will now arrive at the Eden Gardens to breach the fortress of Kolkata Knight Riders.

Both the teams come into the match with a similar track record on their name. Both have won one and lost two so far. Both lost their matches which were intervened by rain. Now the two teams are facing off each othe, it will be interesting to see who comes out on the top.

Here are how the teams are shaping up

Delhi Daredevils

Delhi won a spectacular match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium while chasing a humongous total to win. They had brought in Jason Roy in place of Colin Munro and the change worked out like magic. Jason Roy almost single-handedly took the team home.

That was the first win for Delhi in the IPL 2018 season. They had lost against Punjab and Rajasthan previously. In the last match, along with Roy, Pant was at his best too. Rahul Tewatia and Trent Boult bowled well.

DD missed Chris Morris in the last match since he was facing concussion and although Christian did well, Morris will be back in the team. Rest is expected to be the same.

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR after their heart-breaking loss to the Chennai Super Kings in the last match faced the mighty Sunrisers Hyderabad at the home, Eden Gardens. The rain-interrupted match proved heavy for KKR and they slumped to a low-total which they were unable to defend.

The bowling department did well for Kolkata but they batting was too dismal. Chris Lynn top-scored with 49 but the innings was scrappy as he almost edged every ball. There were changes in bulk for the last match for KKR.

They replaced Vinay Kumar, Rinku Singh and Tom Curran with Shivam Mavi, Shubman Gill and Mitchell Johnson. Despite the loss, the team is likely to be the same.
