The second week of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has started with the break of jinx that the chasing team wins the match as in three consecutive matches, the team batting first won the match. However, the fourteenth match of the season will be played between the teams who have lost the last matches they have played, Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). While MI is searching for their maiden win of the season, RCB wants to get back their momentum after losing a high scoring match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on a green day in Bangalore. In both the scenarios, a win is very necessary for both the teams and in both the teams do have a great combination of young and veteran players. Let us have a look x-factors from both the teams.

Mayank Markande (MI)

When the season began, the biggest worry for Mumbai Indians was the lack of an experienced spinner. Mayank Markande solved that problem and guess what, the young sensation is holding the purple cap. Mayank, who has got an excellent wrong ‘un, is the purple cap holder — given to the bowler with the most number of wickets — now and almost bowled Mumbai to victory in the opening two matches against Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively.

While the Punjab tweaker, 20, returned figures of 3/23 against CSK, he was superb against Sunrisers on Thursday with taking four wickets and leaking just 23 runs. He was thrashed by Delhi batsmen but hopefully, he will come back strong.
