2. Aaron Finch and the golden ducks

The Victorian captain and a possible Australia’s captain for the next few months, Aaron Finch missed out on the first match because of his marriage. He was coming off from a red-hot T20 form which he displayed in the tri-series against England and New Zealand. Finch had scored 62, 20*, 36* and 18* in his last four matches.

Finch joined IPL late and was drafted straightaway in the playing XI of KXIP in his first match against RCB. He was walking back faster than he came in as Umesh Yadav caught him plumb in front. Finch got out first ball. The same fate awaited in the next match as he trapped this time by Imran Tahir.

Finch will be itching to score his first run in the IPL 2018.
