The battle of Afghan Spinners

Two Afghanistan spinners facing each other in the IPL. No one would have thought of this possibility two years ago. That shows how quick Afghan cricket has moved in the cricket world. Now we will have a 19-year old Rashid Khan playing against 17-year old Mujeeb Rehman.

Although Rashid Khan has not picked up the bulk of wickets as he usually does in every competition but he has not bowled badly either. The batsmen are quite cautious against his turns and are playing him out safe. In the match against Mumbai Indians, he bowled four overs for only 13 runs with one wicket.

On the KXIP side, there is this young teen sensation Mujeeb Rehman. The boy bowls a bit of everything and is dependent on his googlies. He bowled Virat Kolhi through the gate which is a huge achievement.
