The left-handed West Indian opener is a legend in T20 cricket. He owns numerous records and leads in a mammoth way in almost all of them. His tally of 21 T20 hundred is triple than that of the batsman on the second spot. Chris Gayle has been in tremendous form this season. In the first match that he was included, Chris Gayle hammered 63 from 33 balls against Chennai Super Kings and appeared unstoppable. It was with Gayle’s score that KXIP achieved a match-winning score.

Repeating the feat in the next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chris Gayle went a few steps ahead as he slammed his 6th IPL century in a sterling fashion. His demolishing job of Rashid Khan was severe.
