In the curtain-raiser of RCB against KKR, it was the partnership between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers which steadied the ship for them after early dismissals. However, in that knock, Kohli wasn’t looking comfortable but despite that, he will still hold the key for RCB’s batting line-up as he is one of the best T20 batsmen of the current era. Over the years, he has been the crucial batsman for RCB as he almost scored 1000 runs in IPL 2016. In the first game at home, if the Bangalore team wants to get back to the winning ways, Virat needs to perform well.
